Mary P O`Connor was born 1959 in Croom, Ireland. She studied at Crawford Art School in Cork (1976-1982), The SFAI, San Francisco and The Royal College of Art, London (1982-1984). After graduating from the Royal College in 1984, she exhibited at the Treadwell Gallery, before going off on her 18 years of travelling and working in Europe, Asia and the USA, returning to Ireland in 2002, where she now works as a web designer, photographer and multi-media artist. Nick recalls that her Royal College degree show, featuring a chapel dedicated to those who had died in the Irish Civil War from the 1960`s to the present, was the most movingly impressive and memorable of any degree show of his experience.
